Industrial design applied to hospitality.
The idea comes from Rafa Ortega, industrial designer at the Gutiérrez y Ortega studio, based in Valencia.
He identified a universal problem in hospitality: unstable tables, improvised wedges, folded napkins and customers repeatedly asking to change tables. Instead of temporary patches, industrial design offers an automatic, integrated and invisible solution.
Invisible design.
The vertical system integrates the hydraulic damping mechanism directly inside each tubular table leg.
Levelling at the base.
The horizontal system places the levelling mechanism directly in the lower cross-frame or the base in contact with the floor.
Asymmetric bases.
The diagonal system integrates the stabilizing mechanism inside pyramidal or angled tubular bases.
HORECA Sector
Bars, restaurants and hotels. Automatic, imperceptible stability on terraces to guarantee smooth, uninterrupted service with no wedges.
Contract Projects
Offices, hotels and public spaces. Fully invisible self-levelling designed to blend into demanding contract projects of the utmost aesthetic purity.
